About Ellie & 14th Ave
Genesee County native here and Michigander proud! Give me all the Kogels and Vernors you got!
I started 14th Avenue Boutique back in summer 2020 as a hobby to see if I could do it (who wasn't starting a hobby then right?!). I first started out with metal wiring for the bracelets, but between the difficulty getting the beads on bent metal and then trying to close it it proved...let's say less than ideal - haha.
Once I got my hands on the jelly string it was pedal to the metal. It provided the ease of putting the beads on, letting me easily tie it, and then it also allowed shoppers of all wrist sizes to buy.
Not far from the Davison Farmers Market at the time, I had my sights on making this work. The Davison community welcomed me with open arms and excited customers. I was estactic. Although the end of the Farmers Market season approached as expected, I continued to perfect my craft offering a wider variety of items, and continuing my success.
The Future
Here we are 2 years later and all the wiser but still as thankful as ever. I plan on taking 14th Ave in a new direction, but would love a clean slate. Therefore, I began work on the April 2022 Spring Sale. Everything. Must. Go!
After April, I'm not sure when I'll be back, as I will be back to the drawing board, but I promise I won't be far away. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this - for your effort here is a coupon code good for 15% off a bracelet, the thing that started it all: SAVYSHOPPER
Good through December 31, 2022
Toodles!
Ellie ♥️
